  • 6 black or green olives, cut in half 

  • ½ cup marinara sauce, plus more for serving

Instructions

  1. Drain the mozzarella balls and pat them dry with a paper towel so they’re firm and easy to shape.

  2. Use a clean straw to press a small round hole into the center of each mozzarella ball. Be gentle to avoid cracking the cheese.

  3. Spoon or pipe a small drop of marinara sauce into each hole. This will create the red background for the pupil.

  4. Take an olive half and press it into the hole, rounded side facing inward so the cut side is visible on top. The dark olive center will look like a realistic pupil surrounded by red.
