Mocktail Version of Eyeball Spritzers for Kids

This is such a fun drink, that there has to be a non-alcoholic version for the kids. Or if you are expecting, the designated driver or just wanting to be sober, you can change up a few ingredients. Instead of wine, you can use cranberry or grape juice! Still add some club soda and you will have a sparkling juice with creepy ice blueberry eyeballs!

Sip If You Dare: Tips for Serving Eyeball Spritzers at Your Halloween Bash

Choose the Right Glass – Use clear glasses so the floating “eyeballs” are fully visible. Stemless wine glasses, highball glasses, or even mason jars work perfectly.

Freeze the Eyeballs Properly – Freeze blueberries in small circular ice molds filled with water. For extra realism, slightly press the berry off-center so it looks like an iris.

Layer Your Liquids Carefully – Pour the red wine first, then gently top with club soda. This keeps the eyeballs floating near the top for maximum visual effect.

Serve Immediately – The eyeballs look best while the ice is still intact and the berries haven’t sunk. Prepare just before serving for the best effect.

Mocktail Option – For younger guests, swap red wine for grape juice or cranberry juice. The effect is just as spooky and totally kid-friendly.
