Monster Mash Guacamole
Guacamole was one of the first recipes I learned when i was 8 years old. I was so proud to make it with my dad. Later on, I created my first cookbook that consisted of simple recipes I learned that a 9 year old could make. Guacamole was included in this recipe book. Then I printed off my recipes in colorful paper, stapled it, and gave it away for Christmas to my family members! Now here I am at 23 years old, starting my own recipe blog.

The Best Guacamole
The best guacamole consist of fresh, simple ingredients. Lime juice, salt, onion, tomato, cilantro, and jalapeños to add any spice. For this recipe, I keep it extra simple. I do not include any tomato, since I want to keep Frankenstein as green as possible. I also do not always add any jalapeños, since if there is any kiddos eating this, they probably do not want any spice.
Creating a Monster Face
With this part, you can be as creative as you would like. I like to use mozzarella balls with cut olives for the eyes, and use olives to create other facial features. I like making the monster look angry, because we are eating him. However, you can make him look nicer by the placement of the sliced olives for the mouth. I also like placing black tortilla chips for the hair, but you can also replace these chips with black beans. The green from the guacamole is perfect for that green monster skin, so get creative with creating your monsters face!

Monster Mash Guacamole
Ingredients
– black tortilla chips
– 2-3 avocados
– 1 tbsp lime juice
– sprinkle of salt
– 3 tbsp onion
– 2 tbsp cilantro (optional)
– black olives
– mozzarella balls
Instructions
1. Cut the avocados and scoop the avocado out of the skin, removing the pit. Then mash avocado and mix with salt, lime, cilantro and onion
2. Spread guacamole on 2/3 of the square plate, covering the surface where you cannot see any green
3. on the top part of the plate where there is no guac, place tortilla chips to look like hair
4. Then make eyeballs by placing two mozzarella balls where you want the eyes. Cut the olives in half and place on-top of the mozzarella to look like eyes. (refer to picture for this part)
5. Then slice a bunch of thin olive slivers. Use these to make a nose, mouth, and eyebrows. Cut mozzarella into small squares and place for teeth and for part of the screws on the side of his head. Take full olives to finish the screws on the side of his “head”. (refer to picture to get better understanding)
