Butternut Squash Whipped Feta

Crumbled Feta Vs. Block Feta

When it comes to choosing your feta, you will find that you can choose between block feta and crumbled feta. Both are the same cheese, in different form However, they will make a difference in your whipped feta. Block feta tends to be higher in moisture. Because of this, I like to choose blocked feta as it makes a smoother, whipped spread.

Tricks to Make This Creamy

There is a few things I like to do to make my whipped feta turn out super creamy. When baking the butternut squash, I make sure that the squash is cooked until it is soft. Then I like to blend the squash first before adding any other ingredients. This will ensure that the squash is soft and blended fully. Then I add all other ingredeints, mixing with a spoon in between 30 second interval blends. The smoothest whipped feta will become your new favorite fall spread.
