Fall Hot Cocoa

Ingredients

– 4 cups milk

– 4 tbsp cocoa powder

– 1/2 cup chocolate chips

– 1/2 tsp cinnamon

– 1/4 tsp nutmeg

– 1 tsp vanilla

– pinch of salt

– sprinkles

For whipped cream:

– 1 cups of whipping cream

– 2 tbsp confectioners sugar

– 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

1. In a pot, heat milk until it is warm. Do not boil it

2. Add chocolate chips and cocoa powder and whisk until chocolate melts

3. Whisk in salt, cinnamon and nutmeg until combined

4. Take off heat and mix in vanilla

5. Fill up mugs and enjoy! Top with whipped cream and sprinkles

 

Whipped Cream:

1. Using a hand held mixer, mix whipping cream with confectioners sugar and vanilla until thickens to whipped cream. Do not over mix, as it could turn into butter.
